Transfer Time Again
6th December 2016
Seems like it was
only yesterday that I last was at Transfers.
I have been moved
to the Ipswich Zone and will be serving in the Yamanto area with Elder Song
from Korea.
I now have
basically gone back to the other half of the Old Centenary Zone before it
split.
This should be an
exciting transfer.
Elder Winter and I had a smashing week Last week and we were so tired by the end of it all. Ohh Wow.
Love you all Gotta go

Sooo..
23rd November 2016
Well this one has
to be super quick because I have a few other things I need to do while here on
the Computer.
I have just been loving reading through Mosiah. It has truly been an amazing experience. This is also the slowest that I have ever read any book. 8 months ago I started with The Introduction and I have been studying everyday bar maybe 15 days max. Soo. I have taken quite some time.
One thing that I loved about this week of reading though is the faith of Alma and His people. And I honestly can not put it in Good enough words so read it!
Loved it Mosiah 23 and 24
Love you heaps. Stay awesome. And I am pretty sure that if you want to know how long I have left you can ask my mum =D

Other than that, that is about it.
In an Area far far
away.
An Elder was....

So a few things happened/happening today.
So a few things happened/happening today.
1. It is my 18
month mark on the mission
2. It is P-day
3. The Badge that I
got in the MTC broke at about the same time that I left my house 18 months ago.
Other things from this week are as follows.
We have become regulars at Baskin Robbins (An Ice Cream store)

We have become regulars at Baskin Robbins (An Ice Cream store)
I gained four kilos
of food at a dinner appointment. Luckily it all left the next day.
We taught 28 or so
lessons.
Had a miracle 6
investigators at Church. One of them being a super miracle.
We saw something
that we never want to see again. But its Australia, so it probably will.
I made chocolate
milk last a whole week (If you know me, then you know that it is a grand feat.)

Hello.
31st October 2016
Hope you have all
had a wonderful day today.
this week we were super super busy. And really tiring. Had no time to really sit down and do things.
Well I just want to share with you something that has stood out to me this week through my studies.
In Mosiah King Benjamin talks to his people. And all the people face their tents towards the Temple (Love that one)
In Chapter 5 it is the end of his address. King Benjamin talks a bit about how once we make the covenant of Baptism with Christ we take upon ourselves his name. And this name is written on our hearts. As we have made a covenant with God that, this is one of the things that we would do. That we wold take upon ourselves the name of Christ. And Always remember him and the things that he has done for us, individually, what he has saved us from. I was thinking about this promise that we make and then this particular verse stood out to me (Mosiah 5:12) "I say unto you that ye should remember to retain the name written in your hearts.."
It stood out to me because a lot of the time. I forget. I forget small trivial things, but they aren't important. Because of my weaknesses in memory I forget what Christ has done for me. I forget that it was him who suffered and died on that cross, so that I may be able to overcome sin and Death, with his Resurrection and his Atonement. I forget these things. And it is something that I must remember. and retain in Remembrance, the covenant that I have made to Always Remember Him, and to take upon myself his name. To be a witness at All times, In all things, and In all places.
Love you all

Story Time
24th October 2016
So this week was
the Last week of Transfer 12! Man its gone by too fast
Well as the title says Story time for all you wonderful readers out there.
So here goes:
On a coldish morning in the Forest Lake Streets.... I'm joking I will get too it quicker than that.
So on Saturday we had the Baptisms of Lainey and Braith Johnston awesome twins from an awesome family.
To start off the morning we did some exercise with the Zone Leaders and then cam back to the Flat and changed to get ready to be at the chapel at 8am. A bit early for the 10am Baptism but we wanted to make sure the font would be filled and everything would be ready. The mum of the Twins was there with a few other sisters from the ward preparing everything for a flawless day and so we filled up the font Now I need to tell you something before we continue, I need to tell you these crucial things. There is a switch right near the Font that says with these words for the switch (Beginning from the Bottom to Top) Fill, OFF, Empty. Ok we can continue now.... (Basically turned the taps on and walked away) Helped set up a little bit and then turned them off at about 9:20 so the water could be turned back on at 9:40 so that it would be warm for the Baptism. 9:40 came around and we turned the font back on again just putting Hot water in so that over the time it would be warm. Got it to the right height and put the Switch into the OFF position with the thought that OFF means Water won't come out of the Taps (Just in Case there was an overflow or something like that) Turned the Taps off and then proceeded to do the Final touch ups Later. 10 minutes Later we come back just to do a final final check. And I asked Elder Winter. Does it look like it has gone down? He says no its fine. We carry on to go to meet the People coming in for the Baptism and start the program.....
We get up to the Baptism Ordination part, And we all come out. Elder Winter and I as one of the First people to get there. Both look into the Font and see not the full font that we left but rather a Font filled up to my ankles. The Feelings were this.... "OHMYGOSHWHATJUSTHAPPENED" I didn't say that though because I didn't want anyone else to freak out. After Promptly getting everyone back into the Chapel and improvising the rest of the Program, We along with the Logan Elders set out to fill the font in the fastest time possible. By Turning the taps on full bore and then using the LOGAN Zone Method off Filling the Font with the Fire Hose... It was as it is in Pokemon. "Super Effective" as we were able to have the font filled in 15 minutes! We also at this time made sure that the Switch was on Fill and Not OFF. The rest of the Day went pretty smoothly after that. So we were filled with the spirit and filled the Font all in a short matter of time.
Love you ALL. Good Luck and Bye

This is the quotation I like
24th October 2016
Faith is the power
Love is the motive
Obedience is the price
The spirit is the key
THE RESTORATION IS THE MESSAGE
The members are the mean
Christ is the reason
Baptism is the way
JOY IS THE REWARD
